We are not here [on earth] to stay but to steer humanity - vigorously - into the city of refuge; a fortification and rampart; the city is God's name.
I have been under the sun for a little bit over 24 years, yet I know little about this life. Still, the meager knowledge I have gathered is surprisingly enough to take me through the mortality stage - flesh and blood dispensation.
What People Say
People have incalculable opinions of life, the Bible, and other ideologies; yet none can cause me to stumble, and none can inch away even an iota of faith I have in Christ Jesus. I exhort thee to hold your ground, letting none swerve you off the track of righteousness.
Jesus is the Son of God; the way, the truth, and the life.
Friend, you don't need to know much to believe in Jesus; knowing the following fragments is sufficient:
Jesus is God - his deity
The Bible [66 books] is credible and reliable.
Jesus became sin, took our place on the cross, and paid all the debt. It is finished.
He died [and conquered death] so that we may live.
He resurrected to give us hope and proof of eternal life - the New Jerusalem.
We are co-heirs with Christ; we have been adopted.
Jesus and The New Jerusalem
The New Jerusalem - a new age that will arrive from beyond time; bringing history to a climax. Jesus took the pain - the pain of captivity and the doom of sinful nature.
The fourfold assault hurled at Him on the Crossbeam became our redemption. We, too, have the obligation - post-resurrection instructions or the great commissioning - to redeem the time to save perishing souls.
The Post-Resurrection Instruction
Make disciples in all the nations; baptize them in the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit [Trinitarian formula].
Redeem time
Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
That's why we're here: to urge and maybe steamroll people into righteousness. Time is short, redeem it by salvaging the unmarred souls...souls still wandering, seeking hope.
I constantly marginalize all curiosities that emanate from within me, created by my carnal mindset to derail me.
I know the image of heaven is literally blurred from a tangible standpoint [corporeal man's perspective], but one can obtain a clear-cut scrutiny of it.
Heaven, to many, is basically a surreal world...a source of empty reassurance for the staggering and wobbling folks...nah, heaven is bound to come. It is so real.
O Ye Hear The Still Voice
Let's all surge into the opened arms (of our Father) itching to embrace and comfort us; let's heed the small still voice pleasantly and constantly resonating in our minds which we often relegate to the periphery of the circle of life; let's beware of the wooing call of God before Doomsday dawn on us
On the day of reckoning: I bet the voice will no longer be small and still...but hoarse and imperative.
My Resolutions In The Light of the New Jerusalem
I have made my resolutions:
General: I will not judge anyone.
Lamentation: I won't fret...about everything. Instead, I will give thanks and carry on.
Dressing modes: I won't judge the dressing modes, even those that utterly expose the nudity - I may rebuke but won't judge saying it's evil or it's a ticket to hell...because I don't know. All I know is that it causes others to falter and punishment for causing other folks to stumble is bound to come...
Doctrines: I won't judge other Gospels, and won't subscribe to them either...unless God says yes. However, I will point out uncanonical teachings.
Speech: I won't curse; I will but bless.
Family: I and my family shall walk in God's statutes...keeping all His precepts...
Teachable spirit: still teachable...
